Everything you need to know about staying legally in Poland as a foreigner.
Karta Pobytu (residence card) is the official document confirming your legal right to stay in Poland for more than 3 months. To get it, you must apply at the Voivodeship Office (Urząd Wojewódzki) with a full set of documents. We prepare every document, submit the application, and represent you at all appointments — so you don't have to navigate Polish bureaucracy alone.
MOS Portal is the new Polish government digital system for submitting all residence and work permit applications online. Since April 2026, paper applications are no longer accepted — everything must go through MOS Portal. Our team handles MOS Portal submissions on your behalf, ensuring all forms are filled correctly and submitted on time.
Processing time is typically 3–6 months depending on the Voivodeship and type of permit. However, once your application is submitted you receive a stamp confirming your legal stay — so you can continue working and living in Poland while waiting. We track your case at every stage and notify you of any updates.
Yes — any non-EU citizen can apply for a Polish residence permit if they have a valid reason to stay: employment, business, studies, or family reunification. We have successfully obtained Karta Pobytu for clients from India, Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Nigeria, and 40+ other countries. Book a free consultation to find the right permit type for your situation.
PESEL is the Polish national identification number — required for opening a bank account, signing a lease, or accessing public services. Foreigners with a valid residence permit or registered address in Poland can apply for PESEL at the local municipality office (Urząd Gminy). We handle the entire PESEL registration process for you.
Temporary residence (pobyt czasowy) is issued for up to 3 years and must be renewed. Permanent residence (pobyt stały) is granted after 5 years of continuous legal stay and gives you the right to stay indefinitely. Polish citizenship can then be applied for after further qualifying years. We guide you through every stage of this journey.
